Hope you are all having a great break for Christmas! We know we are, but we are so excited to be back up and running. We have a ton of exciting things for you this next semester, so you don't want to get left out. We kick back of on January 16th, so tell your friends that blu is back and better than ever. As you all know, Christmas is right around the corner and blu will be taking a break, right along with you for the holidays. After tonight, we will not meet again until January 16th, 2008. We hope you have a fantastic holiday season this year, and we will see you next year!

Blu Concert

Last Wednesday blu hosted a concert featuring the spectacular artists, Lovedrug, and Homer Hiccolm and the Rocket Boys. It was extremely awesome, and if you weren't here you missed out so incredibly much. On October 3rd, blu will be giving away $2,000!!! Everyone has a chance to win. All you have to do is bring the most friends, throw a football through a tire, and you've won! Blu Kicks Off This Wednesday!

An all new semester of Blu, the youth ministry of Trinity Fellowship Church,
begins this Wednesday, August 29th at 7pm. Be sure to come check it out for
yourself. We have added some changes to both the building and the
experience, and we think you will really enjoy them.
The doors open at 6:30. The 7-10th grade service begins at 7. The Jr/Sr
service begins at 7:30. We can't wait to see you there. If you have any

Welcome to Blu PARTY NIGHT!!!

If you are in 7th grade and will be joining us in blu this semester, you are invited to party your face off with us this Friday, August 24th. We will be meeting in the U at 8:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. This will be four hours filled with pizza, games, dancing, going crazy, candy, rainbows and FUN! It only costs $10 so tell your friends and we will see you Friday!!!

The All New Blu

Welcome to the New Website for Blu. We are starting a new semester at Blu,
and we have decided to change the website as well. We think that having a
blog site will be better for both you and us. We are glad you stopped by.

I want to encourage you to check out the different blogs on this site, as
well as check out the links to the staff pages. Please email us any
questions or comments. We will respond as soon as we can.

Also, don't forget that Blu kicks off on Wednesday, August 29th. We have new
service times. The doors will open at 6:30pm. Service for 7-10th grade will
begin at 7:00, and service for Juniors and Seniors will begin at 7:30.

Who: Students in grades 7-12
What: Blü is a ministry with four goals:
to reach students with the good news of Jesus Christ (that being that we all live in and are part of a screwed up world, and that God's Son, Jesus Christ, came to earth, walked with us, died for all the screwed up stuff we've done, and rose again as proof that, by the love of God, He conquered the death that we deserve),
to minister to these students needs, whether they be emotional, relational, etc.
to build a culture of encouragement that helps these students find their place in the body of Christ (in the Bible, it says that every single one of us is a part of a bigger body. Some might be feet, or hands, or elbows. You need your feet and legs to walk around and do stuff, but you might serve that same function to the group of Christians that you hang around with).
to eventually put these students in a place where they can help other people go through the same process.
When: Wednesday nights doors open at 6:30 p.m.
7th-10th grade Meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
Jr/Sr Meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
Where: The U on the campus of Trinity Fellowship, 5000 Hollywood Road.
